Before it was a name, JEMARU was part of everyday life in Belatungan. A place, its people, and the processes I have known since childhood.
01 / THE PLACE
Our story begins in Belatungan, Pupuan, Tabanan, Bali. It is where our founder grew up and became familiar with everyday coffee processing. Origin is more than a name on a package; it is a starting point we want to keep understanding.
02 / THE PEOPLE
Our family and the coffee farmers around Belatungan are part of the background to this story. Helping process coffee as a child brought our founder close to the work behind it. We share that experience without speaking on behalf of individual farmers or claiming an established partnership programme.
03 / THE TRADITION
Processing, drying, roasting, and grinding hold a wealth of everyday knowledge. Local methods, including gas-fired pans or drums for roasting, provide a starting point for learning and product development.
The journey brings experience. Home gives us a reason to return.
