Pulping
The fruit skin is separated to prepare the beans for the next stage. The equipment illustrates the process, not a specific machine owned by the family.

Fermentation
Fermentation is one part of the processing story familiar to us. Timing and methods can vary with local practice.

Drying
Coffee is laid out to dry. For our founder, this is one of the tasks most closely tied to childhood memories.

Hulling
After drying, the remaining dry husk is removed. The beans are then prepared for further processing.

Roasting
Local roasting with gas-fired pans or drums forms part of our processing background. This illustration shows the concept of that stage.

Grinding
Roasted beans are ground for coffee bags. Grind size is one of the details we pay attention to in the brewing experience.

OUR STORY
As a child, I helped my family process and dry coffee in Belatungan. Back then, it felt like an everyday chore. After leaving home for school, university, and eventually a career as a developer, I began to see it differently. Coffee became part of my routine, and a reminder of home. That is where JEMARU began: a wish to develop something that had always been close to me into a simpler coffee bag format. The journey is just beginning. I want to build it thoughtfully, keeping family and the work behind each brew close to the story.
