I didn’t always see coffee the way I do now. That connection grew—from an everyday chore into something I wanted to develop.

CHAPTER01 / 04
Growing up with coffee.
Childhood in Belatungan
I grew up in Belatungan, Pupuan, Bali. As a child, I helped my parents handle coffee after harvest, including processing and drying. At the time, it felt like routine work. I didn’t yet see coffee as something I would want to pursue.

CHAPTER04 / 04
Building JEMARU.
Returning to something close
Robusta from Belatungan is now available as JEMARU coffee bags. JEMARU gives this journey a name: drying coffee, and the flow of a journey. I continue to test, learn, and improve, with family, origin, and process at the heart of the story.
JEMARU · Original Robusta
THE NAME JEMARU
Jemur + Arus Perjalanan.
An invented name bringing together the experience of drying coffee and a journey back to the potential of home. It is a creative brand philosophy, not a Balinese etymology.
